Spin Bike? More Like a MACK TRUCK!
By XetaPrime
Why has no one reviewed this bike yet? The first thing I'll say is the pictures on the web and on Yukon's homepage don't do this bike justice. Things I noticed immediately were that the seat and handlebar posts were HEAVY! No skimping metal here I tell ya! The chrome is nicely polished and the pedals seem respectable. Though I have yet to work out on this beast I did give it a quick spin. The brake resistance pad works nicely. The adjustment knobs are like those on much more expensive bikes and also heavy duty. The handlebars can be moved forward or backward which is a real plus on less expensive bikes. The Saddle can also be adjusted similarly. The frame is built TUFF and the flywheel is 18kg or 40lbs.Initially I had looked at the Proform 290 SPX as it had many good reviews but after looking at different bikes I decided I didn't want side pull brakes. As I said not many good views of this bike to be found which surprised and somewhat worried me but I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Not seen in photos are the white Yukon Denali lettering decals which are very nice looking and the paint job is much nicer than in their product image.I purchased it directly as it is on sale there. My feeling is this is a really good deal for the money. It didn't come with instructions however but honestly there was not much to get wrong here. I'll be contacting them to see if there is any literature and perhaps a parts list.

Yukon Denali Spin Bike
By Guy Dumont
Excellent bike, no frills, heavy duty, I'm 180 and on the standing climb, there is almost no movement of the bike, took about 10 minutes to assemble, tension adjustment knob works well. I purchased another seat, for my comfort, you may like there seat, handle bars are not padded, so if your a wimp you may want to wrap them in foam, altogether a great spin bike that is tough as nails.

Needs a few things...
By Pilot_Ryan
Good solid bike. Feels very well made, but has a couple issues...1. The part of the frame where the bar assembly connects isn't supported very well. The bars move around when you stand and pedal. If you look pictures of spin bikes, you'll notice that most have the forks and the bar tube as one unit..this bike has the bar frame tube separate from the forks. Very unstable and a very poor design.2. The bars are very wide and they tilt down which makes them rather uncomfortable. I've never been on a bike like that, road or spin?3. I 'm 6'3...the bike will adjust to fit persons up to about 6'.4. Seat is uncomfortable and will need to be replaced.I spent another 200 bucks having the bars narrowed and rewelded, added triangle guessets to the front of the frame, and had the seat and bar tubes lengthened. Then I added another seat and spd pedals. This bike is now comparable to commercial grade gym bike. Rides and feels great! My advice, buy a different bike. You can get a nice Spinner or low end Schwin for 600 bucks. I like this bike now, but wouldn't recommend it. I wish I'd have bought something else and saved myself the hassle.
