Addictive and Useful..

After purchasing this scanner, my husband immediately installed all local channels and soon found that we needed to limit our listening range to just our county, due to the high amounts of air traffic. It has rarely been turned off for the entire year that we have owned this scanner and it has provided us with a piece of mind because it adds a link to the community that we never had before. My biggest concern is that it has become addictive and I find that we are always listening to what is happening around us.

This scanner truly amazed me and totally exceeds expectations. I have had many, many scanners and work with them frequently, and this is the best scanner I've come across. Its portability is great, the battery life unmatched, and the clarity of transmissions truly amazing. My other scanners have a lot of fuzz and noise, but this one picks up the transmissions loud and clear. This 7" antenna does better than my 36" home base scanner's, which could have a lot to do with the unit itself as well. It may not be the smallest most compact scanner you'll see, but it is definitely the most powerful. I highly, highly recommend this product!

Terrible syncing

Awful scanner. It hardly pairs up to the channels you want.Good if you want a weather radio only.Bad if you want to listen to local fire ems and police.
