Pleased, but...

We received this last week. It is a beautiful piece but came broken, the glass used is fairly fragile, not thick at all. Sent it back, very convenient return through UPS pick up. We ordered another one, due today. The other three dinette piece we ordered came intact and is really beautiful too. Would recommend this for an island that is about three feet in length.

Quoizel Pendant LampIt looks great in our little house. The lights are bright and the pull cord makes it easy to choose 1, 2 or 3 lights depending on how bright you want the light.

This lamp is gorgeous (especially when lit up), very high quality, and a fair price - esp. with free shipping! Came well-packed in great shape. It coordinates beautifully with my mission furniture. It is real stained glass but does have a coating of oil on it, which tends to attract dust; mine had a fair amount of black dust on it. Clean it carefully - each pane is installed by hand. I love everything about it except that during the installation, it was very difficult to thread all the wires through the opening at the top. Although he is not a professional electrician, normally my husband is very good at installing electric things; this was a real challenge. It holds three bulbs and has three light settings. I recommend you use the small, round, white bulbs (normal base) of no more than 60 Watts. Aside from the tough installation, we love it!
