Good boots for the price

These boots have an elegant design with a very nice Spanish top. The zippers appear to be sturdy, though lighter weight than other brands I've owned. However, I have found that hefty zippers last no longer than lighter ones. The zipper comes down really low which has thus far made the boots somewhat painful to put on. But that may resolve with wear. The boots feature nice spur rests on either side of the zipper, gussets along the length of the calf to give a closer fit, and very nice rubber soles. The only thing I dislike about the boots is the quality of the leather. It is not, as the description states, super soft. It is, rather, quite stiff which gives it an inexpensive feel. I suspect that when these break in they will have sharp lines and micro creases because of the stiffness (though I intend to use a very good conditioner on them). I will say that the lining is a very nice, soft leather, like calf skin. So, overall I would say that these are a very nice boot for the money (though I just received them and have yet to ride in them). I bought these because I'm dead tired of buying more expensive boots and having the zippers break on them after a couple of years (even with meticulous care!!!). Replacing zippers in my area costs as much as buying new boots. So these are the kind of boots you can enjoy until the zippers break and then not feel too bad when they do.
