Great garden hose, but...

What I've learned about garden hoses suggests to me that there is no such think as a kink-free hose. This one comes pretty darn close. But beyond the material it's made of (this one is a polymer), what matters most in my opinion is the length of the hose. Now I've only had these hoses (2 X 75') a few days to combat the insufferable heat and drought in Nashville, but the Flexilla is light-weight and relatively kink free, but when it does kink, it does a good job of unkinking itself, especially when the hose is laid out and a single kink develops as you move it around. My first experience with coiling was a different matter. It results in lots of kinks and twists which may be in its newness and having been tightly wound in shipping. That said, it was easier to unkink and coil than any other hose I've owned (including Sears Craftsman rubber hose). but my conclusion is that the longer the hose the worse it gets. Right now I'd recommend getting 2 50ft hoses instead of one 100 ft. That way you can uncouple them when retrieving or coiling and the coils will have less length to work their way out. BTW the coupling has adequate threading to ensure a tight fit - some reviews I've read suggested otherwise.
