These special water knives have an extremely tough, versatile 3 ½" blade with multiple cutting edges. Its long, curved main blade can cut or slice through a wide range of fabrics and heavier materials, wet or dry. The blunt chisel edged tip can be used to scrape and pry. Plus it has a sharp, durable cutting hook designed to quickly slice through seatbelts in submerged vehicles, strapping, rope, webbing, and fabrics of all kinds. The thick, textured Santoprene handle is contoured to fit the hand and provide a soft, comfortable, non-slip grip wet or dry, under extreme heat or cold, with or without gloves. The sturdy molded plastic sheath is designed protect the knife, and you. It automatically locks the knife in place upon insertion and holds it fast until you push the button on the sheath and pull the knife up to release it. A large, sturdy lanyard ring at the butt of the grip lets you keep this treasured tool on a tether. It's a knife you definitely won't want to lose. N680 Material is a chromium-molybdenum conventionally produced stainless steel with the addition of vanadium and nitrogen. Excellent corrosion resistance properties, especially in salt water.

Benchmade is the Benchmark

This is my second Benchmade knife, and I am as satisfied with this one as I am with my 915 Triage®. These made in USA knives are everything they're said to be; highest quality and a great value (even at the price you pay for one).This dive tool is about standard size for a dive tool (overall sheathed length 7¼", blade length 3⅜", blade handle 3½", stainless tether loop at base of hilt ⅝"). The sheath is a high quality, locking, polymer style with an attachment strap that hooks up easily to a BC (you would need additional strapage for attaching to your leg). The N680 blade is extremely sturdy and resilient for excellent edge retention, and the handle is a soft, supple, and grippy rubber (though it could be a little thicker).I will absolutely be buying more Benchmade knives.
