A little too big

I'd never heard of Torgoen, but I like the style, so I tried it. As a professional pilot, I'm not sure that we need all of the features that companies like to add to "pilot" watches. Slide rules and chronographs are cool, but there are other devices in the cockpit that can calculate time/fuel/distance or complete stopwatch functions more easily (especially in the dark) than a wristwatch. The only extra features that I use every day are (a) the date, and (b) the second time zone. If I can have those on a very clean dial, I'm happy. The watch had a solid feel and it looked well made. It's not a Tag or a Breitling, but for the cost I was impressed. Unfortunately, at 45mm this watch was just a little too big for my wrist. If it had fit me better, I would definitely have kept it - and I would have ordered a brown band for it. I returned it and ordered the Graf Zeppelin GMT. Similar style, but with a 42mm dial.
